Ukulele 4 Beginners Program
The ukulele is a brilliant first instrument for beginners young & old.
Join the latest ukulele “craze” & learn to play your favourite songs in no time in our NEW 4 week adult courses for absolute beginners! Absolutely no experience is necessary & we guarantee you will be strumming multiple songs before the end of your first session!
The 4 week program (8 hours) will cover:
- all the important parts of the ukulele - body / neck / bridge / frets / strings
- learning simple chords & some tricky chords
- learning how to read chord charts
- learning different strumming techniques
- learning to play popular songs with a variety of chords
- learning to play your favourite songs
As your coordination and motor skills improve you will soon be playing your favourite songs with style!
Course Info
Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 10am-12pm at the Balgowlah Scout Hall (Pickworth Ave).

No prior musical or instrumental experience is necessary

Attendance is on an enrolment basis only

The enrolment fee for the 4 week program is $80

BYO ukulele - beginners ukes usually cost around $25-$30 (e.g. Ashton or Mahalo brands).
