  • Composition and song/lyric writing

In Australia, a Registered Music Therapist is a qualified professional who has completed an approved music therapy program as recognised by the Australian Music Therapy Association. People of any age or ability may benefit from a music therapy program regardless of musical skill or background.

Music therapists operate in a variety of community and private settings with individuals and groups across the lifespan, including early intervention, special education, community-based programmes, correctional facilities, medical facilities, drug and alcohol services, mental health, rehabilitation, hospice, aged care/long term care facilities, and private practice.
